PRIVACY NOTICE
How website inquiry information is handled.
Effective September 7, 2026
Information collected
The website audit form asks for a business name, business email, website address, service area, website problem, service priority, and consent to respond. Technical service providers may also process routine request data such as IP address, browser details, and timestamps for security and delivery.
How it is used
The information is used to review the website, prepare the requested response, decide whether the project fits, prevent abuse, and maintain necessary business records. It is not sold.
Campaign information
We keep the landing page and campaign labels, when present, in session storage for this browser tab. When you send an audit request, those labels are included with it so we can understand which outreach or campaign brought the inquiry. When available, we also classify a recognized search-engine or AI-assistant referrer using its hostname only, without keeping its full URL or search terms. This feature does not load advertising trackers or store ad click identifiers. Campaign labels are cleared when the tab session ends; labels submitted with a request follow the retention policy below.
Service providers
The website is hosted on Netlify. Form data may be processed and stored by Netlify so the request can be delivered and reviewed. Email providers may process messages sent in response. Their handling is governed by their own terms and privacy practices.
Payments
If you pay through a Stripe checkout or invoice supplied for an agreed service, Stripe processes your payment and billing information. Fieldline receives the payment status and billing records needed to provide the service, support you, and maintain accounting records. Enter payment details only on Stripe’s hosted page; do not send card or bank details through our forms or email. See Stripe’s privacy policy for its practices.
Retention and deletion
Inquiry information is kept only as long as reasonably needed for the request, follow-up, security, legal obligations, or a resulting client relationship. To request access, correction, or deletion, email dylan@fieldlineweb.com. Some records may be retained when required for legal, security, or accounting reasons.
Security and sensitive information
Reasonable steps are used to limit access, but no online service can promise absolute security. Do not submit passwords, payment card details, private customer records, or other sensitive information through the audit form.
Updates
This notice may change as the service or tools change. The effective date will be updated when material revisions are made.
